Anyone know of a DVR software (for winXP) that can capture to a format that doesn't require the TMPGEnc conversion before using RTVconvert?

I've been using the capture program that came with my video card but that one doesn't seem to give enough options to set up the capture format to what RTVconvert wants. TMPGEnc works great but takes awhile so it would be nice to be able to skip that step.

Some DVR names I've come across are WinDVR, BeyondTV3, Showshifter, PowerVCR3, and MeedioTV. Before I researched & experimented with those further, thought maybe someone here already had luck with one of them or another...

Are you using the ATI software for the capture? If so, which one and at
what settings?
I am using ATI All in Wonder 128 Pro, with the version 7.2 media center.
The digital VCR settings don't let me set the audio rate to above 44.1 KHz
or the number of P frames above 4. From what I understand, rtvconvert wants
48 KHz and 5 P frames.

sorry it's taken me so long to reply - i didn't know you had said anything (too many posts to keep up with).... lets see - first, i'm using an ati all in wonder radeon (an older one - the pci one) & though it's not supposed to be able to use it, i'm using media center version 9.0 -- it seems to work ok when i set it to 704 x 480 but not when i set it to 720 x 480 (go figure). of course, audio has to be 48.000 16 bit stereo & it has no problems --- i have 0 p frames and 0 b frames btw
