On my sat.. my local channels are in the 8000 range. On my replay the channel guide will not show anything above 1000. Is there some way to change it?

What's your provider & WiRNS ver?

To be clear, you're using WiRNS as the guide server for your replay?

Does this work without WiRNS and where do the locals appear on the WiRNS channel guide?

I will check it out tonight, I do know that on the zap2it guide, it is right.
Have no problems with wirns that I know of.. When I change the zip code
on replay, wirns takes over with high jack. I will give a better eample:
After wirns high jacks, my local channels show up in the 700 range. Dish has them in the 8000 range. Thank you for helping... New at this!

While Replay has it's own logic on where to number on the guide the channels, it should still know the provider (dish in your case) output channels. There is no way to force channels into a specific range.

Does the replay change the channel to those locals properly?

I have it listed on Dish local guide. on replay I have to go down to the 700
range to find my local channels. They work but the channel number listing is wrong for my local channels. Should be in the 8000 like my dish. all other channels are good.

Yes. The Replay will automatically map the higher channel numbers to below 1000 per the link above.

ReplayTV remaps the actual Dishnetwork channels above 1000 to somewhere into the 1-999 range. If a local channel is actually on Dishnetwork 8124, and the ReplayTV remaps it to 795, when you tune to 795 on the ReplayTV is it actually tuning the Dishnetwork receiver to 8124. There is no control over where ReplayTV remaps the channels to, you just have to look through the ReplayTV Guide to find them.

This is explained in the link posted earlier: http://www.digitalnetworksna.com/support/ReplayTV/document.asp?docID=112
