Henry, one of my Replays forgot the 1982 code that I added for my Comcast DTA yesterday, so I re-added it using your Zone 11 thing, but this got me wondering, how does that work? Have you documented how people can add codes using that themselves?

You'll want to look at this post: http://planetreplay.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=81727#81727. That was kind of an experiment to see how I could get it all working (with your gracious help). I had hopes of making something where all you had to do was drop in the .rid file and it would take care of everything for you. But, I hand made all that Comcast stuff, which you can get from that download to add to WiRNS as well. FlipFlop from AVSForum understood it well enough to make that boot CD that adds a bunch of IR Blaster codes. And, as you probably know, lots of people have added IR Blaster codes by simply overwriting existing ones, which is the easiest method...

A little bit of how that mechanism operates is posted here: http://www.wirns.com/twiki/RnsGetMirror2, and I have posted on this site a bit in the past about how one might go about making their own updates. What I suggest is that you download that add on for WiRNS and look at the Comcast addition to see what all I changed. Since that additional ZIP file only adds what it took to add just the code 1982 in its entirety, you can see exactly how I added the additional file, and what other files I had to modify to make that work on both the newer models and the older models...
