If someone can come up with the file, I'll be happy to restore it...

It seems I am unable to perform an update check. I get this message after trying to check: update check failed. could not download latest file manifest!

Does anybody know what's the story? I tried the AVSForum that srfrdan refers to, but the link is broken.

Thanks
Pete

As I posted, if someone could supply me with the manifest file, I'll be happy to fix the link...

Not sure if this would help, but on the following thread (see 5th message down), the IVM 1.0 update files were posted to a file depository.

http://www.planetreplay.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=14111

What I tried doing is downloading all of the file & doing a copy & replace (with the service stopped first though). When I restarted it, it shows version 1.0, but I'm still in the process of seeing if it still works for what I need.

Since that's the same email address that the PM notification will go to, it probably won't have any better luck...

Does this mean that if I need to reinstall WindowsXP on my main tower and use IVSMagic.v0.9.8.4-INSTALL.exe to begin the installation of IVSMagic, that I will never be able to get back to 1.0.0.0 (unless somebody has the MANIFEST.xml file)?

You could try what I did, which was download each of the updated files & do a copy & replace. See my previous message above in this thread. It upgraded mine to 1.0

I was able to access the previous ReplayTVUpgrade website, but the file was missing from there as well. I remember that Gary had switched the web service he was using and had to move everything over to a new web server, so I might assume that when he moved it over that he didn't copy the file at that time. I don't have access to the original ReplayTVUpgrade website, so I really have no way to come up with the file. I was really hoping that I would find it on the previous ReplayTVUpgrade website, but it was not the case...

Looks like there's something wrong with Ryan's service. I'll drop him a note...
