I cannot get the channel guide or the replay guide to show on my pc. Whenever I hit the channel or replay guide from the Wirns monitor menu, I get a "connecting..." to my Wirns server IP of 192.168.0.136 , but it never connects. The replay guide is accurate and complete on my 5040. DVarchive also can't seems to retrieve a channel guide. I am using Wirns 2. I have searhed the forums extensively and came up blany. I'm just not sure what search terms I should use.

In WiRNS, goto Configuration | Replays, then Edit each one and make sure you have a Line up selected. Until you tell WiRNS which line ups your Replays are using, it doesn't know which schedule to show.

When I go to Configuration / Replays and hit Edit on the only RTV I have, there is no place to enter the lineup. I am confused on this since I am using Schedules Direct and that lineup is specified there.

Go to 'Configuration / Replays'. You should see "Configured Replays" on the left right under the blue menu bar. Is your Replay listed just below that? If it is, click the 'Edit' button to the right of that.

If your Replay ISN'T listed you'll need to add it manually.

When you click the Edit button next to your only Replay, there should be a line that says: "Lineup 1 (offset 0):" Next to this line should be a pulldown list that should include the Schedules Direct lineup.

If it is not there, goto the Configuration | Guide Data screen. Do you have your Schedules Direct login and password correctly entered? Also, do you have your ZipCode set to 0? You can't have both active - one or the other.

When you do a Administration | Update Guide, and you check the log, do you see it connecting to the Schedules Direct server and retrieving the channel info?

Post you log here, so that we can see what it does when it connects.

Thank you all for your help. When I left for the day and shut down it seems that after I set a lineup in the dialog box below where I had my 5040 listed, a new RTV is now listed as my PC name (my Wirns IP address). I hit edit on that and sure enough the channel guide is there. This seems weird to me but it works. Thanks again.
