Unfortunatly over the last few days I had to reorganize my system. Part of this required me to reset my router (don't ask) , wireless cards and AP. Everything seems to be working okay except DVA, which has always worked fine up until now.

I have two Belkin routers with one set as an AP and both bridged. The IP address of the AP is 192.168.2.9.

I can ping the AP without problems. In addition the Replay can connect to the internet via the AP to my router without problems and do its updates.

My problem is that no matter what address I enter in DVA to open my replay I get nothing. When opening "GET DVR" should
I enter the 192.168.2.9 address of my AP. Done this without success. Is there a different IP I should be using? I looked but do not recall if the replay has its own IP. If it does is this what is needed.

Frankly I had this thing running so wel for so long I forgot what I did to set it up.

Thanks for any ideas.

Yes, you must enter the specific IP address of the Replay. To find your Replay's IP you can do the following with your Replay remote:

MENU
SETUP
SYSTEM INFORMATION
ETHERNET

Appreciate the reply. The IP address is 192.168.2.3 which is what I thought it was.

When I enter it in DVA I get the following error message

Notice: UPNP:: Received UPnP packet from previously unknown DVR @ 192.168.2.3 -- looking up DVR info
04/28 08:19:32 ERROR: REPLAY_DEVICE:: Unable to fetch details for DVR -- Connection timed out: connect
04/28 08:20:03 ERROR: REPLAY_DEVICE:: Unable to fetch details for DVR -- Connection timed out: connect
04/28 08:20:34 ERROR: REPLAY_DEVICE:: Unable to fetch details for DVR -- Connection timed out: connect
04/28 08:21:05 ERROR: REPLAY_DEVICE:: Unable to fetch details for DVR -- Connection timed out: connect
04/28 08:21:36 ERROR: REPLAY_DEVICE:: Unable to fetch details for DVR -- Connection timed out: connect
04/28 08:22:07 ERROR: REPLAY_DEVICE:: Unable to fetch details for DVR -- Connection timed out: connect
04/28 08:22:17 Notice: UPNP:: DVArchive received new DVR broadcast for 192.168.2.3 but wasn't able to initialize/configure it - ignored

The Replay also does not see DVA. It can and does connect via the internet to update without problem.

I also tried to send the command "192.168.2.3/device_descr.xml" as mentioned in some other posts. I get nothing. It seems that something on my PC or in my setup is preventing access via DVA to the replay. I have turned off the firewall but it made no difference.
Thanks

Could be caused by the wireless. Can you pull a hardwired connection temporarily to confirm this theory?

Could also be related to the DHCP bug - did you enable/change DHCP when you "reset" your router?

Again thanks for the reply. After considering everything I did the obvious and rebooted my Replay. I knew I had connection wirelessly since it was updating. Do not yet understand what the reboot did but now everything works fine with DVA.

I sincerly appreciate your input.
