|

I am getting lots of the following messages:
| Quote: | | 06/05 19:27:54 REPLAY_SERVER:: Received unknown HTTP request type via URL of [OPTIONS / HTTP/1.1] from client 192.168.2.118 -- ignored |
This message repeats about every 10 seconds. That address (192.168.2.118) is the IP address of one of my local computers, but it does not have DVArchive on it. And this is preceded by one error message:
| Quote: | | ERROR: Error processing served request from DVR 192.168.2.118 -- Unable to fetch DVR Details for 192.168.2.118:80 |
It seems like there is an instance of DVArchive trying to connect from that computer, but there isn't. Any ideas what's going on? |

| After some research, this appears to be caused by the WebClient service on the computer belonging to the IP mentioned in the error messages. When I turned off the WebClient service on that computer, the error messages stopped. Strange. |

I'm getting the same error. Same situation. I'll try your fix. Thanks a lot.

Nope. WebClient service on the desktop computer is in Manual and Stopped. Does anyone have any other ideas as to what is causing this "pinging" behavior?
Thanks a lot.

I have the same issue. Hundreds of times a day. It shows 2 IP's that I don't have. I previously had a RTV 5080 manually set at IP .70 but this unit always reported on my router as .64 Due to this very strange issue, I set it back to automatic. At least this way the router and DVA see it with the correct IP.
But strangly enough DVA gets the same error message you are describing from IP .70 AND IP .64
Furthermore. I installed DVA on a NEW computer and thought this message will go away, but it is still here!!! Perhaps that is even saved in the DVArchive.xml ??? I do not know. I rebooted the RTV 5080 unit, cleared channel guide but without success. I told DVA to forget all RTV's - still same issue.
I cannot make this message go away.
Anybody...PLEASE help
Guido
