I am having problems receiving shows in IVS Virtual Replay mode.
Shows start downloading, but in 24 hours only got 9% of a 1 hour show.
I can see the files in Import path, and there is plenty of space on drive, 29 GB

automatic show queuing is ON
every 2-3 minutes it looks like down loader restarts

a few lines from the downloader log file

show send proxy server is bound to 192.168.1.61 ports 29000, 29001, 29002, 29003
WiRNS is set to 192.168.1.62

some info that may help in trouble shooting
OS windows XP Pro
1.8 Mhz P4 with 1.25 GB menory
lots of drive space..
DSL line 768K up/3M down

ports 29000-29003 forwarded in router to IVS IP
29000 for Virtual
29001-29002 for replays

Send & receive to Replays via IVSMagic are okay.
Send from Local guide okay.
Loop back sends okay (IVSProvider.conf not dsl modem/router loopback).

I was logged on as an Administrator account but not the "Administrator" account, while running and during install of IVSMagic/Wirns/DVArchive. Each program has its own IP.
192.168.1.61=ivs,
62=wirns,
63=DVA,
60 for my own copy of Apache web sever and tomcat.

Have you checked with the sender? If they have many shows being sent at once that would account for such a slow transfer of the episode you are downloading.

I saw this same type of problem the only other time I tried to download to Virtual Replay.
That time I aborted and had it resent directly to replay unit with no problem.

There has to be a problem or I would not see the following error measage in the downloader log every 2 minutes

Quote:
02/14/2007 12:14 pm downloader is currently transferring heroes: run!.
02/14/2007 12:14 pm downloader started.
