My replay 5080 was disconnected from the network and phone line for one month due to some stupidity on my part. Now that I have discovered that and reconnected, there seems to be a problem. I can go through Menu/setup/network and input settings and download the channel guide and all the rest of the info but when I try to access the channel guide, it does not show up. Also, only channels up to and including 14 are able to be watched. Anything above that and the replay says there is no video signal. What have I done and what can I do. I have a lifetime subscription. |

You should probably double check that you have the correct video provider selected. When selecting video providers, you can view the channel lineup to make sure that it has the correct channels that you are looking for...
You also might want to use 2-4-3-Zones to clear the channel guide TWICE in a row to get things back going...

Henry,
Thanks for your reply,
"You also might want to use 2-4-3-Zones to clear the channel guide TWICE in a row to get things back going..."
How do I go about doing that?
I tried to select another video provider but after getting channel info it would stop and give me an error.
Also, as I go back and forth from ReplayTV input, a blue info box across the bottom states that "I am currently recording and should press stop to stop the recording." Those are not the exact words but I am not recording.
Thanks,
Bill |

On your ReplayTV remote, you enter 2, 4, 3 and then the Zones button (2-4-3-Zones). This will bring you into kind of a service menu. You then select clear channel guide from that menu, which will cause your ReplayTV to reboot. Once it comes back up, use 2-4-3-Zones to select clear channel guide a second time. After it comes back up the second time, then you can try the net connect and see if things are better...
Where you select a video provider, it says that you can press either Fast Forward or Right Arrow (I can't remember which) to view the channel lineup. So, that's where you'd check to see if the lineup matches what you are expecting or not...
Anyway, clearing the channel guide TWICE has a really good chance of clearing up all your problems...
