hi -i still have a problem with shows not appearring in the show path on the primAry drive. external drive and secondary internal drve show paths are visible. this happens on both my computers using w7 and xp. to be clearer if i open the files the shows are there but dont appear in the replay guide on wirns. any thoughts much appreciated---dan

Do you have the Guide check box column check marked under the WiRNS Replay for that path? Have you checked your WiRNS log for errors reading the shows off that path?

ive tried everything. no log errers. could it be security related. my h drive(2tb) shows are there and my esata(1tb) shows are there too.

yes that path is green along with 2 others that do show their shows. and thanx for ur time henry i know ur very busy

this is what i could copy dont laugh---much. u5-ivsm is the nickname for wirns. doesnt show my selections does it.

i solved this problem by adding c:\wirns\shows to the dva storage. all the wirns shows appear on dva and vice verca. dan
