Planet Replay

All was working find until a few days ago, then my land line phones throughout house went dead. Discovered that they go dead when ever my Replay TV is plugged into the phone cord.

Reboot does not change anything; its even dead when the replay unit is turned off.

Nothing wrong up with jack or phone cable since a regular phone will plug into the line I'd been using for Replay and give no problem.

What to do??

It's certainly possible that the phone jack on the back of the Replay is shorted. Did you try plugging a phone into the phone cable that you have plugged into the Replay versus that you plugged a phone directly into the jack?
