I'm attempting to install my old 2000 series for my husband, who is currently living in an Extended Stay America. They use DISH network, but I can't choose DISH to get the guide because there is no cable box. None of the "Cable" only options work because the channels are no where near right. Is there any way to "customize" the channels in the Guide? Or a way to work around the no cable box for DISH channels?

DISH is not a cable box, it is a Satellite connection. You need to choose Satellite in order to see the DISH selection...
