Hi all.

I have downloaded a tv show more than once from my replaytv 5040 using dvarchive to my pc.

Each time, I cant open the show using the latest version of revue.

I cant open the file at all using any software and not just revue

Is revue screwing up or is dvarchive pulling over a file that works on my replaytv but is corrupt everywhere else?

Thanks in advance.

I think revue using rtvtools no longer works because of media player changes from when it was originally written.

RTVtools has not been improved in a long time and doesn't work anymore for me. In the past, revue and rtvtools worked great but no longer. Now I think you need to use womble or videoredoplus unfortunately.

Just once in a while I get a file that it cant digest.

Any other ideas?

Try StreamClip.

I use Womble so I haven't bothered to try this out but it's free and I've heard it's easy enough to use.
