For those dial-up users just needing to get their clock set, see this post about the limited time offer to use LaHo to set your clock. The clock set control panel is still a really good thing to have, but if you just want something quick, you can try connecting to LaHo if you're having trouble updating your clock...
Cool, you got lucky with the clock set because some of the dial up numbers will download the guide but not update the clock.

Thanks Robman! That worked! I created an account just to say THANK YOU!!

I did notice however that when I did the 'change-zip-code-and-change-it-back-again' trick, this set the clock and time zone, etc, so I was all prepared to try your manual clock-setting script, and I didn't even need to do that.

Thanks again, you made my day... I haven't had a guide in almost 2 weeks!

If the clock on your Replay has got reset back to 1999, you will need to reset it before the Channel Guide download will work. To manually reset the clock you will need to install a patch.

This script will install the patch:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=10872

Once you have reset the clock, follow the instructions in the previous post to get your channel guide.

I have just fixed the lost channel guide situation on both of my Showstopper units (My RTV 5040 has not had any problems).

Here's what I did...

1) Change your zip code to something else, proceed forward.
2) Stop to connection, back up and change it back to the correct zip code.
3) Proceed and let the unit connect.
4) First time you should expect to get a "network connection" errror.
5) Try again and this time it should work.
6) Select your local phone number and proceed.
7) Once that is done, do a 243-Zones and force a network connection

After that, you should have your full channel guide again. At least, it worked for me, YMMV.
