Disconnect the ethernet cable when you first set it to network. It will immediately prompt you to set up a static IP.

That 8MB cache 7200.8 drive should work fine if that's the actual model number labeled on the hard drive itself. 400GB still seems a bit excessive, but it should work fine...

Rebooting RTV via getshellcommands or some other way?

I have added a Reboot button under Configuration / Replays.

Clicking it will, after confirmation, create a file in the WiRNS folder named reboot.<Replay Serial Number>, eg. reboot.RTV5040D3MA6666666 and immediately start a Net Connect for that Replay.

The existence of the file will tell WiRNS to append a Reboot command to its list of shell commands for the Net Connect. Once that happens, the file is deleted.

This also means one could manually create that file, and the next time the Replay net connects it will also reboot.

Available now via the Updater.

I am selling my replay tv model 5504. Works fine can be upgraded to a bigger hd if needed. It has stock 40gig hd in there. Always works never have a problem I just dont use it. I have remote(aftermarket but works fine) you can also use wins as well. Selling $40 obo I am located in nyc thanks. Email me with any questions.

Alright, I've done a little research overnight and it looks like the problem was introduced when Greasemonkey was updated to work with FF3 (Version 0.7.20080121.0). Several changes were made to improve Greasemonkey's security.

Specifically, GM_xmlhttpRequest, GM_getValue and GM_setValue, all of which are used in the Poopli+IVSm script.

The Greasemonkey wiki has a post on a workaround for making old scripts compatible with the new security checks.

I'll tinker a little tonight to see if the simple work around does the trick. If not, someone with a whole lot more script skill may need to rework the script to comply with the new security checks.

I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Your friend is correct, the Showstopper can't read a digital signal from the cable box, except the output from the cable box is probably analog.

If the cable box doesn't output a standard composite (analog) signal, you can't hook it up the way you originally wanted.
